Born on Christmas day, Shanna Christmas is a comedian and Las Vegas native. She stands at 6 feet 3 inches and played volleyball in college, despite much protest. She currently works as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in hospitals and nursing homes using humor to heal the sick. She’s basically a really tall Patch Adams. Shanna has been all over the country performing stand up. She performed at various venues in Edmonton, AB including The Comic Strip, opened at Laffs Café in Tucson, and featured at The Joke Factory and Laugh Factory. She has also hosted at The Hollywood Improv, sharing the stage with Jeff Ross, Chris D’Elia, Dane Cook, and other big names as well as appearing on the world famous Gotham Comedy Club stage with Judd Apatow and Donnell Rawlings. She’s performed in the World Series of Comedy and the 2nd annual Burbank Comedy Festival, earning a “Best of the Fest” nod. Shanna’s style of comedy is a mix of tall lamentations, race, relationships, healthcare stories and intellectual wit that confuses some and intrigues most. She was once told by an audience member “You’re clever.” Christmas can also be seen in interesting places outside of stand up. She participates in pole fitness, traveling to host and perform at Pole Expo and Pole Con in Las Vegas and Ft Worth. She’s also done modeling and extra work in commercials and films and continues to get auditions but has yet to get a call back. Prepare yourself for a painfully honest roller coaster ride of comedy when Christmas time arrives!
